Requirements
- Typically have 7+ years of repeated success across a variety of projects.
- Have successfully led high-stakes consulting engagements from discovery to production.
- Build high-quality, maintainable software collaboratively and incrementally.
- Write production-quality code using languages and frameworks such as Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, and SQL.
- Have experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features into products or systems.
- Use context-appropriate automated testing to inform design choices and catch bugs.
- Have experience debugging and refactoring existing code.
- Collaborate using Git, MacOS/Linux, and CI/CD.
- Address architecture concerns including scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
- Make recommendations and set direction amid ambiguity, while mentoring colleagues and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and software design discussions.
- Collaborate on systems across the ML lifecycle, from data ingestion and preprocessing through deployment, integration, and performance monitoring.
- Balance technology choices with project deadlines and high-quality delivery.
- Maintain a healthy, prioritized, and estimated team backlog.
- Manage high-level project roadmaps for large engagements.
- Provide client status updates, identify and evaluate risks, and present potential solutions.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve blockers to team progress.
- Lead feedback conversations and document outcomes and action items.
- Mentor colleagues, lead or design workshops, and support hiring processes.
