Requirements
- Hold a master’s, doctoral, or other terminal degree from an accredited college or university, depending upon the needs of the course being taught.
- Have appropriate experience in the area(s) of specialization and expertise.
- Have at least three years of experience as a School Psychologist.
- Educational Psychologist through the BBS (LEP) is preferred.
- Be proficient with computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Work independently and be self-motivated.
- Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Explain complex requirements in clear and concise terms.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while adapting workflow to departmental and candidate needs.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and the ability to interact effectively with diverse people.
- Exercise discretion and tact and maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom and distance/distributed learning.
- Implement and facilitate courses and syllabi.
- Assess and evaluate candidates.
- Provide video-guided instruction.
- Mentor and advise candidates.
- Hold virtual office hours and conference with candidates.
- Mentor and supervise research and scholarship, particularly MA theses, PsyD projects, and EdD dissertations.
