Requirements
- Master's Degree in teaching domain from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience).
- At least 18 credit hours of direct study in the discipline taught.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in higher education (online experience preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience (online preferred).
- Ability to travel for one annual trip and one orientation trip.
Responsibilities
- Develop, administer, teach, and evaluate students in general education coursework.
- Advise and mentor students throughout their coursework.
- Monitor student performance against course objectives and published schedules.
- Complete annual professional development.
- Deliver personalized grading within 5 days of week's end.
- Post at least two personalized weekly announcements and participate in discussion boards at least three days a week.
- Provide meaningful, written feedback on instructor-graded work for students scoring less than 100%.
- Run regular office hours, review sessions, or tutorials, and identify support for at-risk students.
