Requirements
- Have a strong understanding of cloud architecture, including major cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.
- Understand networking and security considerations when designing deployment environments.
- Understand authentication and authorization frameworks such as IAM, Security Groups, and RBAC.
- Have experience with Kubernetes and be able to identify deployments you have architected or managed.
- Understand Kubernetes operating models and requirements for designing deployments for new applications.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical vision for an area of the software stack.
- Lead broad, multi-team technical initiatives.
- Own parts of the software stack.
- Provide mentorship to team members.
- Research and roll out new technical frameworks.
- Work across application engineering and infrastructure.
