Requirements
- Hold a BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Bring 6+ years of progressive financial analysis experience at high-growth SaaS companies, in public accounting, or in investment banking.
- Have explicit experience leading product-level software finance.
- Have experience building revenue models, evaluating pricing strategy, and forecasting roll-ups by geography, segment, or product.
- Demonstrate expertise in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
- Have familiarity with modern AI tools, BI solutions, and G-Suite apps.
- Demonstrate the ability to partner with C-suite executives, including CFO, CTO, and CPO, and drive strategic consensus.
- Show interest in AI technology trends, AI-powered product development, and next-generation automation tools.
- Bring strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide financial statement forecasting and reporting across product-level revenue metrics, bookings, resource allocation, headcount, and OpEx.
- Own finance for the R&D organization, including departmental budgets, headcount models, and ROI metrics for technical development initiatives.
- Partner with Product and Go-To-Market leadership on pricing models, package architecture, and monetization strategies for new products.
- Evaluate investment returns for AI development tools and unit economics for AI-powered personalized marketing features.
- Own the company cost of revenue forecast and partner with Engineering FinOps on cloud infrastructure and gross margin optimization.
- Create executive and Board presentation materials, dashboards, and narrative analyses on corporate strategy and performance.
- Use AI-driven financial planning tools and methodologies to improve and scale FP&A processes.
- Conduct financial risk, opportunity, and scenario analyses to guide senior management decisions.
- Build strategic frameworks with Accounting, Product, and Engineering leadership to improve cross-functional efficiency.
