Requirements
- Typically have 7+ years of progressive experience in localization engineering, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture at an LSP, language technology vendor, or global tech company, or equivalent experience.
- Communicate effectively across functions and align Sales, Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams, linguists, and project managers.
- Handle complex enterprise procurement and IT security discussions.
- Bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to simplify and automate manual processes.
- Understand content intelligence and be able to design and sell solutions for that shift.
- Have hands-on knowledge of at least two enterprise TMS platforms, such as Phrase, Lokalise, Trados Enterprise, Smartling, XTM, or memoQ.
- Have experience designing or scoping translation workflows combining machine translation, large language models, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Know at least one scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby, and have experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, regular expressions, and XPath.
- Have expert knowledge of localization standards including XLIFF, TMX, TBX, and SRX.
- Understand cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority in the sales cycle for Strategic Accounts and Business Development teams, present to senior client leaders and enterprise IT teams, and lead product demos.
- Lead enterprise requirements workshops to define integration points, data models, and orchestration patterns, and produce technical blueprints and data-flow diagrams.
- Design, implement, and improve workflows connecting translation management systems and Acclaro technology with client CMS, DMS, and other enterprise platforms.
- Advise on API architecture, webhooks, and secure middleware development.
- Build proofs of concept to validate proposed solutions and win client buy-in.
- Deploy content intelligence workflows combining the platform, large language models, and human-in-the-loop feedback cycles.
- Explain content intelligence architectures and business value to non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Operations on customer solutions, technical viability, sales expectations, handover, and execution.
- Automate manual QA gates and remove technical bottlenecks in the content lifecycle.
