Requirements
- Have led a team of five or more direct reports and grown the people on the team.
- Have experience inside or close to family offices, on the investment side of a single- or multi-family office or covering family offices from a fund.
- Have personal relationships with principals and CIOs.
- Understand direct investing and how a family office evaluates a private company.
- Understand what a family office needs before meeting a founder.
- Handle names, numbers, and terms with discretion.
- Use AI tooling and a clean CRM to handle administrative work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop five investor relations associates, each managing a book of family offices, funds, and strategic investors.
- Set the team's quality bar and weekly rhythm.
- Coach associates, hire as the team grows, and oversee their results.
- Manage the most senior family office relationships.
- Open relationships in new regions and hand them to the team.
- Grow active membership and ensure members hear from the network at the pace they requested.
- Maintain the quality of every deal the team sends.
- Send weekly numbers to both founders.
