Have 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating Senior-level scope and impact.
Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Have significant experience building and maintaining production SaaS or web applications.
Have strong experience with Java and modern server-side application development.
Have experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern web application development.
Have strong experience designing and working with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data-intensive applications.
Have experience developing and operating applications in cloud environments.
Understand application architecture, software design, testing, performance, scalability, security, and data protection.
Have experience with Git and modern software development practices.
Be able to independently solve complex technical problems and make sound technical decisions.

Design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications, services, and APIs.
Own complex technical projects from design and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the SaaS platform.
Collaborate with Product to translate business and product needs into technical solutions.
Build reusable services, components, and patterns that improve the codebase.
Address performance, scalability, reliability, and security challenges.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive solutions to their root cause.
Provide code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing to the engineering team.
Improve engineering standards, practices, and processes.
