Requirements
- Bring significant experience designing and shipping complex, high-usage digital products.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead major initiatives and influence product direction as a senior individual contributor.
- Have experience designing AI-powered products, agentic capabilities, conversational interfaces, or systems where AI takes meaningful autonomous action.
- Demonstrate strong interaction and visual design skills through a portfolio of high-quality execution and measurable user-experience improvements.
- Translate ambiguous, rapidly evolving challenges into clear product direction, actionable design principles, and well-defined opportunities.
- Understand how AI capabilities, model limitations, technical architecture, and product constraints affect user experience and interaction design.
- Have experience designing workflows where transparency, user control, reliability, and confidence in AI-generated outputs are essential.
- Own ideas from early exploration through validation, execution, launch, and ongoing optimization.
- Test concepts quickly, explore alternative interaction models, and determine when high-fidelity prototypes are needed.
- Present design decisions, facilitate reviews, and influence stakeholders across Product and Engineering.
- Use user research, customer feedback, and behavioral insights to address user needs, including enterprise requirements around quality, compliance, and scale.
- Raise design quality, establish shared design principles, and guide teams through influence.
Responsibilities
- Lead major AI-native product initiatives from identifying user problems through prototyping, delivery, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Establish design direction for conversational and AI-powered product experiences across related product areas.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define product principles, quality standards, priorities, and design decisions.
- Design conversational AI experiences with real-time AI avatars for employee learning, skills development, practice, and workplace conversations.
- Create interaction patterns for AI-driven and agentic systems that balance automation with user control, transparency, and trust.
- Build structured workflows, contextual guidance, and feedback mechanisms to help users understand AI behavior and refine results.
- Prototype and user-test emerging conversational and agentic interaction models.
- Champion interaction design, visual design, usability, systems thinking, and consistency across AI-powered experiences.
- Incorporate user research, customer feedback, and product insights, including enterprise needs for quality, compliance, and scalability.
- Communicate design rationale, facilitate design reviews, and help stakeholders navigate complex decisions.
