Experience: At least 5 years of backend engineering experience

At least 5 years of backend engineering experience building scalable, data-heavy distributed systems.
Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript or Node.js.
Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
Experience owning external partner-facing integrations and production data flows, including ingestion and normalization.
Familiarity with IoT data, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with REST or gRPC APIs.
Strong software engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational support.
Ability to work independently as a senior contributor.
Logistics, cold-chain, supply-chain, or shipment-risk experience is useful.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases, ETL, or data security and privacy considerations is beneficial.

Design, build, and operate backend services that ingest and contextualize IoT and partner data from multiple vendors.
Own partner data flows from API, webhook, queue, carrier, and sensor ingestion through normalization, warehousing, monitoring, and on-call support.
Build event-driven systems and workflows for shipment risk analysis, exception handling, and on-time, in-full performance.
Develop and maintain APIs, data models, and integrations with attention to reliability, scale, and operational visibility.
Deploy and operate services on cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
