Requirements
- A track record selling technically complex software into large organizations.
- Experience in security, DevOps, or other developer-focused tools is preferred.
- A solid engineering foundation, such as a computer science degree or past engineering work.
- Working knowledge of how development teams build and ship software.
- Familiarity with popular CI/CD platforms.
- Ability to read code and recognize software vulnerabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging security engineers, DevOps staff, and technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Become a product expert and fit the product into customers' build pipelines, developer processes, and security programs.
- Lead technical discovery conversations, troubleshoot problems, and recommend solution designs.
- Own customer proof-of-value projects, including setting success measures, configuring environments, and delivering results.
- Create or tailor detection rules to demonstrate the product.
- Present the product's technical advantages to security engineers, DevOps groups, and executives.
- Improve the customer experience by upgrading demo environments, automation, and learning materials.
- Work alongside account executives on larger, longer sales cycles.
- Share methods, training, and good habits to contribute to the growth of the pre-sales engineering group.
- Travel up to 20% for customer meetings, events, and conferences.
