Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in tooling development, software quality assurance, or validation engineering, with a strong focus on SaaS products.
- Experience leading test frameworks and defining comprehensive test strategies.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks in Python.
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript, or similar tools in other programming languages such as Java.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools, LLMs, or AI-driven testing methods into QA workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI assistants for streamlining testing and automating repetitive tasks.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and improvement of standards, test frameworks, and tools for validating backend SaaS services.
- Collaborate with development, quality, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective tooling.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks in Python (Pytest) and TypeScript (Playwright).
- Integrate AI-powered tools, Generative AI, and LLM workflows into the software development lifecycle to automate quality processes.
- Use Docker for containerization and manage test platform services in cloud environments.
- Improve test strategies, coverage, efficiency, and backend test harnesses and infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and improve testing standards, processes, and methodologies.
- Work with development and validation teams to promote consistency across codebases and adoption of tooling.
