Job Details

Have 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong hands-on coding ability.
Have strong programming skills in Python and working proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Rust.
Have experience designing and building test automation frameworks from the ground up.
Be comfortable working in Linux environments.
Understand AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and Kinesis, and their role in distributed, serverless SaaS applications.
Have experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Be able to read and reason about production code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with developers.
Have systems-thinking skills for distributed, event-driven, and resilience-focused architectures.
Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical or engineering experience.

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and libraries for REST APIs, React UI, security, end-to-end, and integration testing.
Write production-quality code for test harnesses, device simulators, performance tools, and mocks that emulate IoT behavior and video streams.
Build and maintain testability tooling for distributed, event-driven components, including Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and Kinesis.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and optimize feedback on builds and deployments.
Evaluate and introduce tools, frameworks, and approaches to keep test infrastructure scalable.
Participate in design sessions, RFCs, and architecture discussions to advocate for testability, observability, and reliability.
Review code and pull requests for correctness, edge cases, performance, and maintainability.
Design test plans and drive coverage for IoT configuration, monitoring, deployment, connectivity, and video features.
Validate distributed cloud systems for correctness, performance, and resilience under realistic and edge-case load.
Mentor engineers and QA team members on automation practices, framework use, and testable design.
