Requirements
- Have 5+ years in a product design role.
- Provide a portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of shipped work.
- Have experience redesigning mature product lines, not only launching new ones.
- Demonstrate systems thinking across multiple tools, workflows, and entry points.
- Be fluent in Figma and comfortable prototyping with AI tools to test ideas quickly.
- Have experience working with PMs and Engineering in a triad.
- Have experience running independent research.
- Use usage, funnel, or experiment data to make and defend design decisions.
- Have experience with B2B or SMB products, ideally in marketing, CRM, or growth.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of Toast's Marketing Tools, which restaurants use to reach guests, run campaigns, and understand what's working.
- Set design direction for Marketing Tools rather than taking direction from a spec.
- Partner with a PM and engineering lead in a cross-functional triad.
- Collaborate with designers working on CRM, Websites, Online Ordering, and agentic teams.
- Help shape how the team measures whether the work is succeeding.
- Design tools for an agent-assisted future.
