Requirements
- Professional experience in operations or program/project management.
- Demonstrated success building and implementing operational systems and processes.
- Evidence of operational execution and iteration, including experience delivering results while managing several responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify needs and independently implement solutions.
- Ability to work across finance, HR, compliance, IT, and project domains and learn unfamiliar areas quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including adapting communication to different audiences and producing clear documentation.
- Reliable attention to detail, particularly for compliance and finance tasks.
- Ability to scope ambiguous problems, balance detail with the broader picture, and develop solutions.
- Experience with Coda, Notion, Asana, CRMs, or similar operational software is a plus.
- Experience building automations and familiarity with AI tools and workflows are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own operational tickets, triage incoming requests, and provide first-responder support across the team.
- Improve the operational requests pipeline, maintain policies, and support recurring operational rhythms.
- Maintain cross-team coordination, operational tool, and knowledge management systems; identify process gaps and automation opportunities.
- Maintain the compliance calendar and track federal, state, and local filing deadlines.
- Support compliance automation, grantmaking operations, and financial operations.
- Provide initial IT support, coordinate with vendors, and arrange equipment provisioning and sourcing.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, HR compliance, employment policies, and the company handbook.
- Support FAR.Labs operations, including event logistics.
- Deliver ad hoc operations projects and specific pieces of larger initiatives.
