Requirements
- Approximately four or more years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated technical ownership and meaningful contributions to production systems.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining production applications with C# and .NET, or closely related technologies with transferable expertise.
- Practical experience with Angular, TypeScript, or a comparable modern frontend framework.
- Familiarity with modern cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with relational databases such as Azure SQL Server.
- Ability to reason about scalability, latency, consistency, reliability, and architectural trade-offs, and document technical decisions.
- Experience monitoring production systems, using observability tools, investigating incidents, participating in on-call responsibilities, and implementing improvements.
- Regular use of AI coding assistants and agentic development workflows, with an understanding of their strengths, limitations, and safeguards.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, AI-enabled product features, engineering workflow automation, or AI evaluation and guardrails is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable software solutions for the estimating product.
- Partner with product managers and designers to identify customer needs and deliver product improvements.
- Own architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and ongoing operational performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and failure scenarios, implement safeguards, and improve system availability and recovery.
- Participate in code reviews, produce technical documentation, and establish maintainable engineering practices.
- Use coding assistants and agentic AI workflows to improve development efficiency and delivery quality.
- Deliver incremental changes, incorporate feedback, and use production insights to guide improvements.
- Share knowledge, communicate technical trade-offs, and contribute to design discussions and team development.
