Requirements
- Hold an active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification; PTCB is required.
- Have experience working in a call center or contact center environment.
- Have 1–4 years of experience in healthcare operations, provider data, pharmacy technician work, retail pharmacy, claims, or a similar environment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Be able to follow structured procedures.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Have reliable high-speed internet with at least 24 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload.
- Be willing to work an 8-hour shift within the 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. CST schedule window, based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and/or outbound calls about provider or pharmacy inquiries, documenting information accurately and following procedures.
- Process DAPO work items, provider updates, and pharmacy-related data changes within required timeframes.
- Review provider records for completeness, discrepancies, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Follow defined workflows to resolve issues and escalate complex cases when needed.
- Document actions in accordance with audit, contract, and policy requirements.
- Partner with internal teams to support accurate provider information across operational systems.
