Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–1 year of customer service experience; contact center or healthcare experience preferred.
- Typing proficiency of 35 WPM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Customer service software and CRM familiarity preferred.
- Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems efficiently.
- Minimum internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload required.
- Available for first-shift work, including one required weekend day.
- Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
- Complete new-hire training and pass required compliance testing.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, follow protocols to determine priorities, and dispatch responses.
- Provide customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
- Monitor medical alerts and alarms and support members during stressful situations.
- Record call details, dispatches, and messages in the database in real time.
- Verify and update customer information in the system.
- Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for maintenance.
- Inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services to members.
- Manage access to sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
