Requirements
- Hold a master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Have an active Mississippi license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent.
- Have experience working with diverse individuals and a variety of mental health concerns.
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Be able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Hold scheduled telehealth appointments with clients throughout Mississippi.
- Listen to clients’ concerns and determine how best to address them in therapy.
- Use counseling approaches suited to each client’s situation and clinical needs.
- Recognize changes that may require a different level of support or additional services.
- Keep session notes and other required records organized and current.
- Handle sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Consult with the clinical team when a case would benefit from additional input.
- Follow Mississippi licensing, ethical, and professional requirements.
