Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of experience managing books in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software.
- Have proven experience managing finances for an e-commerce company.
- Bring strong expertise in management accounting, including building management accounting processes and adjusting them to changing conditions.
- Have experience setting up accounting standards within a company.
- Have advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Knowledge of US tax law and the US sales tax system is a plus.
- Experience at a company selling on Amazon is a plus.
- Bookkeeping experience in the USA or Europe is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Organize and control accounting across a group of companies.
- Handle general bookkeeping for company entities in the USA and Europe.
- Control management accounting and prepare recurring consolidated reports, including P&L, project marginality, and balance sheets.
- Review financial reports and advise on corrective action.
- Collect and analyze data to prepare financial forecasts and suggest strategies.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
- Support upper-level management with financial decision-making.
- Control and optimize the financial team's operational processes.
- Oversee bill payment, accounts payable, and expense reporting.
- Automate department workflows and optimize existing financial processes.
