Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.
- Have prior AI training or data-annotation experience.
- Bring hands-on knowledge of month-end close.
- Bring hands-on knowledge of reconciliations.
- Bring hands-on knowledge of AR/AP, accruals, and adjusting entries.
- Bring hands-on knowledge of sales tax and job costing.
- Have excellent written English and precision with numbers.
- Be careful and detail-oriented, producing accurate figures and objective, checkable criteria.
- Be available 20 to 40 hours per week for an initial one-week trial, with potential extension.
- Sign an NDA before the engagement begins.
Responsibilities
- Create realistic accounting tasks covering month-end close, reconciliations, AR/AP ageing, accruals, adjusting entries, sales tax, job costing, and incomplete or inconsistent books.
- Review deal-room files and select relevant documents to develop prompts and rubrics.
- Write requests that call for usable outputs, such as a spreadsheet, journal entry schedule, or short memo.
- Run each request against a frontier AI model and review its output carefully.
- Increase task difficulty when the model succeeds until a genuine gap appears.
- Write objective scoring rubrics that another reviewer can apply without repeating the work.
- Follow task and rubric guidelines consistently, flag ambiguous cases, and help refine criteria.
