- Have built people infrastructure at a startup rather than inheriting it.
- Have experience across both HR and recruiting, including building both functions from scratch.
- Be able to source, screen, and close engineering candidates credibly.
- Be able to configure Greenhouse, not just navigate it.
- Have hired across time zones and understand global remote compliance.
- Use AI tools in day-to-day work and have changed how you operate because of them.
- Have professional-level English communication.
- Be available to work U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities
- Design and run onboarding, offboarding, and the full employee lifecycle.
- Build and maintain HR documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Coordinate global payroll and contractor agreements across multiple countries.
- Establish performance management systems tied to measurable output and ownership.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for employee relations and people questions.
- Partner with founders on org design, compensation strategy, and workforce planning.
- Own full-cycle recruiting across open roles, including creative, sales, operations, clinical, and engineering.
- Source and screen technical candidates in Full-Stack, AI/ML, and DevOps without outsourcing to agencies.
- Manage and optimize the hiring pipeline in Greenhouse.
- Design interview processes and scorecards.
