Requirements
- Have prior experience running a team, ideally with around six direct reports, and be able to show what the team achieved and who you developed.
- Have experience hiring, coaching, and, when needed, letting people go while holding the team to a standard.
- Have 6 or more years on the investment side of a family office, VC or growth fund, or in capital raising for private companies.
- Have current relationships with family offices and understand what they ask before taking a founder call.
- Be able to write concise pitches for investors.
- Maintain CRM discipline and a clear weekly operating rhythm.
- Handle founders’ numbers and members’ names confidentially.
- Use AI tooling to handle administrative work.
Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, coach, and manage the performance of the IR team, including around six direct reports.
- Set and maintain the team’s weekly rhythm, including kickoffs and reviews of wins and losses.
- Own the health of the investor network and ensure members receive deals that fit their thesis at the pace they requested.
- Maintain the quality of every pitch and introduction sent by the team.
- Report weekly metrics to the co-founders, including mandate calls, activations, pitches, founder calls, and referrals.
- Take senior mandate calls with family offices and strategic investors, including in new regions.
- Work closely with the client success team to keep each client’s raise moving.
