Requirements
- Have 6-10+ years of professional experience across software engineering and customer-facing technical roles.
- Have built production software, such as backend systems, data pipelines, APIs, or agent systems.
- Have experience building agents, working with LLM APIs, or integrating complex systems.
- Understand how to build reliable agents and integrations based on production experience.
- Be able to read and extend unfamiliar codebases and work within constraints set by others.
- Be able to work directly with customer engineering teams as a trusted technical partner.
- Have personally participated in a challenging production launch or deployment.
- Be willing to travel 30–50% during active engagements; travel is lighter between engagements.
Responsibilities
- Build production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines on Redpanda ADP in customer environments and codebases.
- Ramp quickly in unfamiliar codebases, data environments, and technical constraints.
- Own technical deliverables from understanding the engagement goal through design, implementation, and handoff.
- Work directly with customer engineers to ensure integrations fit their existing systems and maintenance plans.
- Document delivered systems and train customer teams to support them independently.
- Identify recurring customer needs and product challenges, and share findings with Product and Engineering.
