Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade software systems.
- Backend or full-stack software engineering experience, including designing and implementing APIs, services, and system integrations.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one systems-oriented or backend language: Go, Java, C++, or Rust.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience owning technical outcomes from discovery through deployment in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work directly with customers and external stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate tradeoffs.
- Ability to diagnose complex integration issues and adapt solutions to changing customer and operational needs.
- Understanding of security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, monitoring, and secure system design.
- Preferred: Experience with data pipelines, event-driven systems, or service-oriented architectures.
- Preferred: Experience deploying or integrating enterprise software in customer environments, or a background in security, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI systems, machine-learning-enabled products, or AI security concepts; AI model building is not required.
Responsibilities
- Work with customer engineering, security, and platform teams to understand architectures, constraints, workflows, and operational requirements.
- Design and implement integrations between the AI security platform and customer systems, APIs, data pipelines, and runtime environments.
- Translate enterprise requirements into proofs of concept, deployment strategies, and production-ready architectures.
- Own customer deployments and diagnose, scope, and resolve issues across customer environments.
- Build and extend backend services, integration components, and engineering tools that support secure, reliable deployments.
- Ensure deployed solutions meet enterprise standards for reliability, security, observability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Validate technical feasibility through proofs of concept and iterate based on customer feedback and operational insights.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to coordinate technical delivery, resolve blockers, and support customer outcomes.
- Communicate technical findings, architectural tradeoffs, implementation risks, and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
