Requirements
- Bring strong full-stack product engineering experience across APIs, databases, permissions, integrations, and user-facing workflows.
- Have real experience using AI coding agents for multi-step engineering work, beyond autocomplete.
- Be able to read, debug, and fix code without AI.
- Use sound judgment when reviewing AI-generated code and tests.
- Have experience owning production systems or production incidents.
- Be comfortable working across frontend, backend, data, integrations, and infrastructure-adjacent concerns.
- Demonstrate clear written communication and strong ownership.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, fast feedback cycles, and startup pace.
- Work approximately 50 hours per week.
- Attend required meetings and live collaboration during approximately 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack product features across Zenara’s clinical products.
- Own features from an agreed requirement through task breakdown, implementation, testing, release, and production follow-up.
- Use AI coding agents to accelerate implementation, refactoring, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Review agent-generated changes and manually debug or fix code when AI output is wrong, incomplete, or misleading.
- Build and validate tests that demonstrate feature behavior and detect failures.
- Diagnose, fix, document, and prevent recurrence of production issues in your area.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
- Raise risks early, keep tickets current, and help prevent delivery surprises.
- Help define standards for AI-native engineering, code review, testing, and production readiness.
