Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Show a portfolio with clear examples of problem framing, research, design rationale, and measurable outcomes, demonstrating depth and ownership.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Figma Make, v0, or similar in the design workflow and be able to show how they have changed the process, speed, and output.
  • Be comfortable prototyping in AI coding tools and considering feasibility, data, and business impact alongside user experience.
  • Bring experience working with complex, data-heavy domains and structuring information-dense workflows.
  • Think across flows, edge cases, and the broader product when making design decisions.
  • Communicate design rationale to engineers, product managers, executives, and customers.
  • Be comfortable sharing work early, receiving critique, and iterating.
  • Bonus: experience in construction, workforce management, complex operational systems, or HR tech.
  • Bonus: experience building or scaling a design system, or establishing design practices at a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design for one or more product areas, from problem framing and discovery through shipped UI and post-launch iteration.
  • Use AI tools to synthesize research and customer calls, explore concepts, generate working prototypes, and test ideas with real data.
  • Lead the shift to an AI-native design process by identifying opportunities to remove busywork, speed discovery, and test more ideas.
  • Shape discovery, critique, research, and handoff practices, and grow the design system to support the product and team.
  • Create working prototypes and contribute directly to front-end code when it speeds development.
  • Shape strategy and roadmap decisions, weigh technical tradeoffs with engineers, and recommend what to build and why.
  • Lead interviews, site visits, usability tests, and workflow mapping with operations leaders.
  • Use product analytics and customer feedback to validate decisions, find friction, and iterate on solutions.
