Requirements
- Have at least 6 years of backend software engineering experience developing enterprise-grade applications.
- Have at least 4 years of experience building scalable, high-performance, highly available microservices.
- Have at least 4 years of experience designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code.
- Have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Have at least 2 years of experience with Google Ad Manager or another advertising server platform.
- Have at least 2 years of frontend development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python 3; expert-level knowledge is evaluated through a coding assessment.
- Have experience with Elasticsearch or other cloud-native search technologies.
- Have practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to build production software and automate engineering workflows.
- Be willing to travel approximately 4–5 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs deployed on AWS.
- Build scalable, high-performance, highly available software solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and implement clean, reusable, maintainable solutions across services.
- Ensure the stability, performance, reliability, and scalability of platform services and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and promote improvements in code quality.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Security, and other cross-functional teams to deliver software.
- Mentor junior engineers and peers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, maintain tests, automate repetitive tasks, and improve productivity.
- Apply engineering practices to cloud-native architecture, infrastructure automation, database performance, and search.
- Support digital advertising platform integrations and technology serving healthcare-related content and experiences.
