Requirements
- Have 3+ years of manual testing experience with strong backend and API testing skills.
- Have experience designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans.
- Understand test design techniques and requirements analysis.
- Have hands-on Java-based test automation experience with Java, Rest Assured, JUnit, and Maven in Spring-based applications.
- Bring strong defect investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Have experience working in Agile teams in hybrid manual and automation environments.
- Have experience using Git for version control.
- Have an upper-intermediate level of English.
- Playwright (Java) or Selenium experience is desirable.
- Cucumber experience with legacy API tests is desirable.
- Exposure to AWS environments is desirable.
- A software development background and Point-of-Sale domain experience are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for backend and API functionality.
- Perform API testing for backend services and integrations.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Java-based test automation frameworks.
- Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis with developers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint delivery activities.
- Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date test documentation.
