Requirements
- Have 5+ years of industry experience.
- Hold a Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
- Bring deep experience with causal inference on observational data.
- Have experience designing and analyzing quasi-experimental research.
- Be proficient in R or Python for statistical analysis.
- Use SQL for data access.
- Have familiarity with survey design and analysis.
- Have applied data science to compensation, recruiting, or broader workforce and organizational questions.
- Have experience working with legally sensitive data.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional partners of varying technical levels and drive impact.
- Have experience working with large practical datasets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to understand people-related business problems and gather relevant data for analysis.
- Apply statistical models and data science methods to analyze recruiting, hiring, promotion, retention, pay equity, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
- Translate data and insights into visualizations and stories that support strategy, action, and decision-making.
- Align research priorities with business priorities and work with stakeholders using a customer-focused mindset.
- Lead recurring compensation analytics in partnership with Employment Legal and Total Rewards.
- Lead the design and measurement of Airbnb's quality-of-hire metric with Recruiting.
- Own sensitive statutory and governance reporting.
- Use the AirPanda platform and LLM-based agents to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and synthesis.
