Requirements
- At least 2-5 years of experience as a Controller.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting process management.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
- Ramp experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Willingness and ability to work US business hours.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with due diligence or audit processes is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise bookkeeping staff and oversee division of duties.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable across multiple client accounts.
- Complete month-end close, including booking transactions, making adjusting journal entries, and preparing financial statements for review.
- Use Ramp and QuickBooks Online in day-to-day work.
- Provide financial data for forecasting and support the fractional CFO with financial modeling in Excel and data entry.
- Review and correct financials before CFO review.
- Participate in special projects, including fundraising or acquisition due diligence and audit preparation.
- Collaborate with team members and clients while working independently.
