Requirements
- At least four years of experience building and delivering SaaS products end to end.
- Strong full-stack engineering expertise across frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Proficiency in Laravel or modern PHP frameworks and experience with React, Next.js, or Vue.
- Experience with debugging tools such as XDebug, unit testing, code reviews, and code quality practices.
- Experience designing scalable APIs, integrations, reusable components, and maintainable software architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes or EKS, CI/CD pipelines, and application observability.
- Understanding of modular monolith architectures and maintaining clear domain boundaries.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly Aurora MySQL or PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- A strong testing mindset, including test strategy development, automated validation, regression prevention, and pipeline health monitoring.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Gemini.
- Demonstrated leadership through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and raising engineering standards.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and take ownership from technical discovery through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable product features across the frontend and backend using Laravel, PHP, React, Next.js, and other relevant technologies.
- Build and maintain APIs, third-party integrations, and reusable software components.
- Contribute to architectural improvements, including event-driven architecture and domain-driven development.
- Develop and maintain applications in AWS environments using Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
- Design and optimize relational data models using Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL, and related technologies.
- Establish test strategies, write unit tests, improve automated testing frameworks, and monitor pipeline health.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and improve application performance, system stability, and software quality.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and engineering stakeholders to scope and deliver features.
- Provide technical guidance through code reviews, documentation, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
- Apply accessibility, localization, security-conscious development, and compliance practices.
