Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer or in a comparable role.
- Experience building backend services and APIs using Java, Python, Ruby, or similar programming languages.
- Experience developing frontend applications with React, Next.js, or comparable frameworks.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and scalable software architectures.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering workflows.
- Exposure to integrating AI capabilities or large language model APIs into software applications.
- Practical understanding and application of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to work effectively in client-facing consulting engagements.
- Ability to balance delivery speed, software quality, maintainability, and business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain software applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrations.
- Build responsive interfaces using React, Next.js, or comparable frameworks.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and developer workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
- Implement AI-powered application features, LLM integrations, and automation workflows.
- Evaluate technologies such as LangChain and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for project needs.
- Collaborate with product managers and product owners on backlogs, requirements, estimates, and release planning.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Engage with client stakeholders through technical discussions and demonstrations, explaining implementation approaches, trade-offs, and risks.
