Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, and Expense Management.
- Experience with full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and Oracle Cloud Financials best practices.
- Experience with client-facing consulting.
- Experience leading functional workstreams and mentoring junior team members is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required by customer projects.
- Full-time availability during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside business hours if required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Responsibilities
- Lead client discussions and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business processes and functional requirements.
- Analyze finance and accounting processes and recommend solutions using Oracle ERP Cloud Financials capabilities and best practices.
- Lead configuration of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Expense Management.
- Own assigned functional workstreams throughout the project lifecycle and develop or review functional design documentation.
- Partner with technical and integration resources on requirements for reports, integrations, extensions, and customizations.
- Lead functional testing and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, data conversion, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Resolve complex functional issues and support post-go-live stabilization and ongoing client support.
- Provide client training and knowledge transfer, and mentor junior consultants and project team members.
