Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Professional experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or a closely related field.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing AI and machine learning models.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, Java, or another relevant language.
- Practical experience with one or more of TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience developing or implementing natural language processing, text analysis, or computer vision solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services for AI, machine learning, data processing, and analytics.
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, data pipelines, data workflows, and complex datasets.
- Ability to investigate technical challenges, analyze data, identify root causes, and improve model performance.
- Ability to document technical solutions and explain findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must work remotely from within the continental United States and travel to Middletown, Pennsylvania, when required.
- Must attend a full-day onsite orientation to collect assigned equipment and be able to reach the designated work location within three hours in an emergency.
- Must maintain a suitable remote workspace, use a camera during virtual meetings, and safeguard and return issued equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and implement AI and machine learning models for business needs.
- Apply algorithms, frameworks, and techniques to improve model accuracy, reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop applications involving natural language processing and computer vision.
- Build data processing, integration, transformation, and analytics workflows using Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Analyze datasets to identify patterns, extract insights, and support model development and business decisions.
- Monitor existing AI applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement performance improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, project stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
- Support model integration, validation, deployment, and resolution of implementation issues.
- Document model development, data pipelines, system configurations, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Present technical results, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
