Requirements
- Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Hold Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Nevada, or be able to obtain it.
- Have 15+ years of civil engineering experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage client relationships and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
- Bring project management experience, including developing proposals, scopes, and budgets and executing engineering projects successfully.
- Have staff mentorship and performance management capabilities.
- Have experience with strategic planning, client development, and operational oversight.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineers and technical staff on infrastructure projects from planning and design through bidding and construction.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, technical quality, and team workload.
- Strengthen client relationships by providing responsive engineering solutions.
- Identify business opportunities through networking, client engagement, proposal preparation, and presentations.
- Partner with division leadership on strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management throughout the western U.S.
- Mentor staff and contribute to talent development, succession planning, and organizational sustainability.
- Refine and implement the firm's strategy and business growth plan.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Denver office and support profitability.
