Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Experience supporting payroll system implementations, enhancements, or ongoing managed services engagements.
- Practical experience with payroll configuration, payroll processing, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, retroactive processing, off-cycle payrolls, and payroll compliance requirements.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or Employee Central certification.
- Preferred: Experience with U.S. and multi-state payroll, payroll integrations, interface design, payroll migrations, or transformation projects.
- Preferred: Knowledge of SAP Employee Central, Time Management, Compensation, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and integration technologies.
Responsibilities
- Participate in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.
- Analyze client business requirements and translate them into payroll system solutions.
- Configure SAP ECP functionality, including wage types, rules, payroll calculations, schemas, and processing elements.
- Document functional specifications, configuration workbooks, solution designs, and testing results.
- Support unit, integration, parallel, and user acceptance testing; troubleshoot payroll calculation issues and configuration defects.
- Support payroll data validation, reconciliation, reporting, system deployments, and post-production activities.
- Collaborate with client payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams and provide functional guidance and issue resolution.
- Support integrations with SuccessFactors modules and systems involving benefits, time management, general ledger, banking, tax providers, and third-party applications.
- Support data conversion, payroll migration, and payroll transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate compliance-related requirements and identify opportunities for payroll automation and process improvement.
