Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- 1 year of recent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of processes in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, or Revenue Cycle Customer Billing is desired and required for the first round of hiring.
- Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical individuals.
- Time-management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines within standardized procedures.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks and interruptions.
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers.
- Ability to operate multi-line phones, printers, fax machines, copiers, and scanners.
- Available to work Monday through Friday on the day shift; no weekend work is required.
Responsibilities
- Receive inquiries and service requests from patients, employees, providers, vendors, and others.
- Respond to inquiries by phone, email, web portal, and other channels with accurate and timely information.
- Support one or more service delivery teams.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers to identify ways to provide service and support customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in business processes and services.
- Follow applicable regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to protect employee and patient information.
