Requirements
- Have 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure.
- Know Azure services and architecture, including Azure VMs, Azure App Service, and Azure Functions.
- Be proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash, and in automation tools.
- Have experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
- Be familiar with Infrastructure as Code principles and tools such as ARM templates and Terraform.
- Have experience with version control systems such as Git and agile development methodologies.
- Be located in the CET timezone (+/- 3 hours); candidates in other time zones are not considered.
- Azure certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure provisioning and configuration using ARM templates, Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and other relevant tools.
- Implement and manage containerized applications with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles to define and manage infrastructure resources.
- Set up monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
- Implement security measures and best practices for Azure resources.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to understand requirements and implement cloud solutions.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure the resilience of Azure-based systems.
- Optimize Azure resources, address performance bottlenecks, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
