Requirements
- Hold medical licensure in good standing in all active states.
- Be board certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Be a physician in good standing in their medical practice, if applicable.
- Be enrolled and in good standing with Medicare.
- Be enrolled and in good standing with Medicaid in the states where physically located; enrollment in multiple Medicaid states is a plus.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and privacy policies.
- Hold board certification from an ABMS-recognized board.
- Have exceptional webside manner and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Be able to provide result interpretation, education, information, and guidance on appropriate next steps in care.
- Have 1+ year of telehealth experience.
- Be tech savvy and willing to learn or adjust to changes in protocols and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth sessions to patients by phone and/or video for prescriptive and/or informational consultations.
- Follow required state telemedicine regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments as appropriate.
- Develop and implement treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
- Interpret results and provide education, information, and guidance on appropriate next steps in care.
