Requirements
- Bring 6+ years of experience, as stated in the posting.
- Have five or more years of cloud engineering experience, with at least three years focused on AWS in production environments.
- Have hands-on experience with AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
- Have production-grade experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Have experience designing and operating Amazon EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
- Have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application workloads.
- Have strong scripting skills in Python and Bash; Go or PowerShell familiarity is a plus.
- Understand cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance requirements.
- Have experience implementing observability, monitoring, and alerting in cloud-native environments.
- Have strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional certification is preferred.
- Experience with AWS Organizations, centralized governance, service mesh, eBPF-based observability, zero-trust networking, FinOps, cost optimization, or regulated workloads is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design large-scale, secure, and highly available cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services.
- Build and operate AWS platforms supporting mission-critical production workloads.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Automate infrastructure and application workloads through CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting in cloud-native environments.
- Partner with application, security, and SRE teams to deliver resilient cloud-native solutions.
- Improve platform operations with attention to security, scalability, and cost-aware design.
