Job Details

Bring 10+ years of Product Design experience.
Have experience operating at Staff scope, owning design across a team rather than only a feature.
Have e-commerce, shopping, or merchandising design experience.
Demonstrate strong systems thinking and experience building patterns and components adopted by other teams.
Be fluent in prototyping, including within a product’s code or app environment.
Be comfortable using AI tools to move faster while maintaining rigor.
Have a track record of mentoring designers and setting design and craft standards beyond your immediate work.
Be comfortable working in a mobile-first, fast-moving consumer environment with an ambiguous, shifting roadmap.
Design complete systems while maintaining attention to individual interactions.
Understand data and backend realities well enough to design feasible, resilient, predictable interactions.

Lead end-to-end Shop design across discovery and browse, merchandising and personalized recommendations, product detail, cross-sell, and post-purchase experiences.
Drive multi-milestone design programs toward business outcomes with minimal oversight.
Shape product vision and manage stakeholders and team capacity.
Build the Shop pod’s design-system patterns for product cards, merchandising modules, and recommendation surfaces.
Prototype in the product environment, including code or app, and use AI tools to explore and validate behavior against real data and backend constraints.
Set design evaluation and validation standards for critique, redlines, and engineering handoffs.
Partner with the Shop pod’s Product Manager and Engineering Manager on planning and execution.
Work with FanApp design staff and leads to keep Shop patterns coherent with other app areas.
Mentor designers on and around the Shop pod in craft, ownership, and collaboration.
