Requirements
- At least five years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or a related field.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, financial modeling, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using business intelligence (BI) tools.
- Ability to interpret financial data, investigate variances, recognize trends, and translate findings into business insights.
- Ability to validate financial information across multiple systems and reporting sources.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Compare actual results against budgets and forecasts, investigate discrepancies, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collect, validate, and consolidate cross-functional inputs for annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Maintain financial models covering revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Update and validate information across financial systems, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with operations, accounting, and other departments to gather inputs and clarify assumptions.
- Prepare presentations, supporting documentation, and analysis for budget reviews and financial performance discussions.
- Respond to requests for financial information and provide ad hoc analytical support.
- Participate in improvements to reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
- Support audit requests and help maintain accurate, documented reporting in line with internal accounting policies.
