Requirements
- Significant senior leadership experience within a software or SaaS organization, with direct responsibility for Product and Engineering.
- Proven ability to develop and execute product and technology strategies that deliver customer value and commercial results.
- Direct experience building e-commerce search, product discovery, merchandising, or personalization products.
- Technical judgment across software architecture, engineering practices, cloud infrastructure, platform operations, scalability, reliability, and information security.
- Demonstrated success leading complex technology integrations, platform modernization, or organizational transformation.
- Practical experience bringing AI or machine learning capabilities to market and integrating AI into product development or engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue, customer retention, profitability, margins, and cost-to-serve.
- Experience building and developing senior Product and Engineering leadership teams.
- Experience leading distributed teams across multiple countries, regions, and time zones.
- Experience managing budgets, workforce planning, vendor relationships, technology investments, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, agency partners, engineers, senior executives, and board members.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute product and technology strategy aligned with customer needs, market trends, and business growth.
- Oversee customer research, product discovery, roadmap development, lifecycle management, and investment prioritization.
- Lead commerce platform integration and modernization while improving architecture and reducing technical debt.
- Improve usability, implementation speed, configuration flexibility, and self-service capabilities for merchants and agency partners.
- Lead global Engineering teams and establish development practices, delivery processes, and accountability.
- Oversee software architecture, cloud infrastructure, platform operations, reliability, scalability, information security, and compliance.
- Identify and commercialize AI and machine learning capabilities and integrate AI into Product and Engineering workflows.
- Engage customers, agency partners, and prospects; collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
- Recruit and develop senior Product and Technology leaders and strengthen distributed teams.
- Own Product and Technology budgets, workforce planning, vendor selection, strategic investments, and performance objectives.
