Requirements
- Have 2-4 years of experience as a software engineer or developer, focused on backend development.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python.
- Bring strong experience with databases, SQL, and database optimization techniques.
- Have experience working with microservices architecture.
- Be familiar with API design principles and RESTful services.
- Understand the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Have a BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical area, or equivalent practical experience.
- Have English language proficiency.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field is a nice-to-have.
- Experience or certification with AWS or Google Cloud Platform is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with Docker, Apache Kafka, caching, performance optimization, performance testing, profiling tools, or machine learning concepts and frameworks is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement server-side applications using Python.
- Write complex SQL queries using Trino to gather analytics data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain microservices for the platform.
- Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs.
- Write efficient, reusable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews.
- Develop end-to-end integration tests.
- Troubleshoot and debug backend systems.
