Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, mathematics, philosophy, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role.
- Background in the AI or software industry is advantageous.
- Strong strategic thinking skills to derive and deliver insights from data.
- High competency with data visualization tools; Power BI is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.
- Sound knowledge of business financials and operations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level.
- Ability to synthesize trends and present findings in visually appealing formats for executives.
- Project management skills and communication abilities.
- Self-starter attitude, curiosity, continuous learning, and creative problem-solving.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to travel occasionally, less than 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct industry and trend research, market analysis, and market sizing to address business challenges and evaluate potential M&A targets.
- Support Sales and Marketing growth for company investments through research and analysis.
- Identify, develop, and implement strategies to improve business performance at portfolio companies.
- Lead portfolio company projects related to pricing, go-to-market, and change management or organization.
- Develop frameworks, approaches, and use cases or prototypes for applying AI to portfolio company processes and business models.
- Create reports and dashboards that consolidate findings and provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making.
- Analyze and synthesize data from diverse sources to formulate strategy recommendations and inform decisions.
- Develop and present reusable data assets and act as a thought partner to leaders on strategic planning and long-term business strategy.
- Collaborate with Finance, M&A, and portfolio teams on research and analysis.
- Assess organic growth opportunities and contribute to special projects as required.
