Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
- Bring prior banking, rating agency, or other financial institution experience; this is preferred.
- Have prior experience in financial statements, cash flow, or credit analysis; this is highly preferred.
- Use Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Work remotely in the EST time zone.
- Bilingual Japanese ability is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze borrowers’ historical financial statements and future projections, including those of their parent companies.
- Prepare credit applications for new requests, renewals, amendments, and extensions.
- Prepare applications for non-credit business matters, such as fee waivers and daylight overdrafts.
- Assign credit ratings to borrowers and individual facilities.
- Monitor credit and conduct covenant checks.
- Assist with asset quality assessment.
