Requirements
- Work with structured data, including JSON, SQL, and CSV.
- Be familiar with APIs, webhooks, and technical documentation.
- Reason through messy, real-world systems.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Manage multiple customers and integrations.
- Bring strong attention to detail and an ownership mindset.
- Have 2+ years in a software engineering role (preferred).
- Experience with integrations, solution engineering, or data operations is a plus.
- Logistics, freight, or telematics experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers during onboarding, pilots, and early production.
- Troubleshoot integration issues on the customer or Catena side.
- Validate real-world location, HOS, asset, and trailer data.
- Implement and test ingestion pipelines, mappings, transformations, and webhooks end to end.
- Identify edge cases and provider-specific quirks.
- Validate new integrations before and after launch.
- Surface recurring patterns and gaps from customer work to inform roadmap decisions.
- Coordinate with telematics providers on APIs, sandboxes, and issues.
- Improve internal and customer-facing documentation.
