Requirements
- Have prior experience writing proposal responses for US government contracts.
- Understand US government contract terms and terminology and be able to interpret technical RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations.
- Research IT domains and technologies and align proposal responses with business requirements and company service offerings.
- Work independently in a home-office setup without distractions.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Have strong research, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Have a high-speed internet connection of at least 50 Mbps and a computer with at least 8 GB RAM and Windows 10.
Responsibilities
- Review US Federal Government RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents to identify response requirements.
- Research and develop clear, persuasive proposal content using capture information, subject-matter-expert input, and other resources.
- Develop compliance, requirement, cross-referencing, and gap-analysis matrices, proposal schedules, and annotated outlines.
- Document technical solutions, approaches, and IT task responses for proposals.
- Coordinate data calls with teaming partners and internal contributors.
- Lead proposal schedules, content planning, compliance, and production, and coordinate reviews and revisions.
- Write and edit executive summaries, resumes, experience, past-performance, and management sections.
- Maintain past-performance databases and reusable proposal content and templates.
- Create technical white papers, case studies, success stories, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
