Job Details

Have 5+ years of professional back-end development experience.
Have experience building ledgers, accounting systems, or other systems where money correctness is critical.
Understand double-entry accounting, including debits, credits, balances, and reconciliation.
Have strong experience with Kotlin or Java; the team uses Kotlin.
Have experience with relational databases such as Postgres.
Have experience with exact decimal arithmetic, idempotency, and consistency in distributed systems.
Have experience with message-driven architectures such as RabbitMQ.
Have hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and the judgment to review and question their output.
Be comfortable working with high autonomy and ambiguity in a fast-moving remote startup.
Have clear written communication skills; collaboration is mostly asynchronous.
Professional English is required.

Design, build, and maintain ledger and treasury services in Kotlin and Spring Boot.
Model money movement using double-entry accounting, including returns, reversals, fees, and FX.
Reconcile the ledger with bank statements and on-chain wallet balances, and clearly surface discrepancies.
Make systems idempotent and resilient to retries and partial failures.
Maintain immutable audit trails for finance, compliance, and external audits.
Build data and tooling for liquidity management.
Model yield-bearing and financing instruments in the ledger.
Write thorough tests and review teammates' code.
